Program Summary

Step Up To Management enables new managers (0-2 years) to understand the importance of ‘flexing’ as an essential tool for being a 360-degree leader along with the concepts of workforce management, interpersonal relations, employee motivation and productivity. This program allows the participants to experience the different roles that a contemporary manager needs to play, while scientifically assessing self and their teams on the core leadership drivers in order to set clear management goals. Finally, the program ensures minimum business viability for a new manager from people and process standpoint covering a wide range of essential capabilities..

Program Objective
    1.  Learn their own style of leading and the importance to flex one’s style to be a more versatile leader. Get introduced to “Being” a 360 degree leader.
    2.  Understand how to focus inward to upward and forward. Define vision and goals that can inspire the manager and the team.
    3.  Master the art of managing multiple priorities and work on improving productivity.
    4.  Move away from being only an individual contributor to a manager and delegate to enhance team’s productivity leading to healthy trust.
    5.  Build relations to transition from productivity to people, which enables the manager to build influence.
    6.  Realize why conflicts are natural while dealing with people and practice different conflict styles management along with difficult conversations.
    7.  Hone the most important tool of performance management– Giving and receiving Feedback!.
